Chris Moyles Seizes Aspire At Cheryl Cole

Chris Moyles seems to have re-sparked his dispute with Girls Aloud after slagging off key member Cheryl Cole during his Radio One breakfast show.

The gobby presenter was remarking on the fact that The X Factor has auto-tuned some of the contestants singing during the auditions, when he bitched that Cheryl Cole's voice should be digitally improved, rather than the X Factor contestants.

After playing a live performance of Parachute yesterday, Chris told his 7.7million Radio 1 listeners: "I love Cheryl but that's awful!" before mocking: "I can't ignore it, it's not the best, is it? She might not need a parachute but she could bloody do with some singing lessons."

He later offered a half-hearted apology to the Geordie, saying: "If you're listening Cheryl, we love you."

Cheryl Cole has spoken for the first time about her attack of malaria and mislaid parts of The X-Factor.

If you watched the show at the weekend, you would have seen very dramatic clips of the singer looking weary and ill when she first started coming down with the virus.

Cheryl said, "I'm completely terribly upset I missed the last audition and the boot camp stage, but I am really eager and really looking forward to seeing what the other juries have chosen."

She added, "I can't wait to get my category so I can get my teeth into it. I will be raring to go."
