Deanna Loveland: Young Musician, Model, and Fashion Designer Takes a Stand for Life

Deanna Loveland, of Gianna Records, is a powerful young woman. In her twenties, Deanna exudes passion and joy in the midst of an incredible display of talent.

Deanna first became known for her musical abilities and performances. She has performed for a wide variety of audiences – including local churches, private events at Jerry Bruckheimer’s estate, and the Premier Iglesia Bautista in Mexico. Deanna is well-loved for her signature ability: playing both the harp and piano simultaneously while singing.

At the tender age of five, Deanna began to play piano by ear, and she soon progressed to the harp and violin. She took her gifts even farther by pursuing singing and songwriting. When I met Deanna – when she was just fourteen – it was clear that this girl had a quiet confidence about her.

I’ve followed Deanna’s career for years – since we met in 2003. It came to my attention that she has chosen to donate a portion of her proceeds to a pregnancy resource center and to a home for women. Deanna’s choices in giving and in the words of her songs speak a timely message to today’s women: Life is valuable. Women matter. Babies ought to be given every chance to live. Women are precious just as they are.

This is just the sort of message that we need to hear from the music, modeling, and fashion worlds. Deanna graciously granted me an interview that gives us insight into the heart of a young woman striving to make a difference in the lives of her generation.

Perhaps my favorite thing about Deanna is that she has set an example as a celebrity who chooses to give to truly pro-life, pro-women organizations. She personally knows people from Mercy Ministries and The Pregnancy Resource Center of Danville, Kentucky. King Richards Faire announces their 2012 auditions

King Richard’s Faire announces their 2012 auditions on Saturday, March 24th and Sunday, March 25th at the Boston Center for the Arts (527 Tremont Street, Arts Resource Room, Boston MA). Actors, musicians, technicians and performers are welcome to attend the audition and request to be part of New England’s oldest and largest Renaissance Faire running in Carver, Mass. from September 1, 2012 through Columbus Day weekend.

Professional auditions will be held for the following positions

• Queen (must exemplify royalty and have a belting voice, be full of grace and poise)
  Musicians (drummers, keyboardists, etc.)


• Singers, dancers, acrobats


• Actors, jugglers, stilt walkers, specialty acts

• Musical comedy performers and street performers

Theatre at the Center announces non-aea tap dance auditions for its production of 42nd Street.

Ball state university Auditions

An audition is required for admission to Ball State University's acting and musical theatre options and dance program. Students may audition before applying for admission or before acceptance to the university.

Auditions are not required for initial enrollment in the theatrical studies, design and technology, theatre education, and production (directing/stage management) options, but all prospective students are strongly encouraged to participate in the auditions for scholarship consideration. Students who are not performers can schedule an interview in place of an audition.

Audition Date: February 13 2012 is the material deadline for the 25^th February 2012.

Piano and Percussion auditions are available on-campus dates only.

Voice Applicants: Accompanists are available for both on and off-campus voice auditions only for a $30.00 fee which must be paid when the audition is scheduled.

The Crane School of Music makes every effort to ensure that on and off-campus auditions provide an equal evaluation and opportunity for admission. All prospective students auditioning off-campus will need to provide their own instruments. For each location, the auditions generally require two hours. Warm-up facilities and time are sometimes limited at off-campus sites. There is a $50.00 non-refundable site fee for off- campus auditions which must be paid when the audition is scheduled. Please arrange for your audition at least 3 weeks prior to the date, to ensure a space on our schedule and time for confirmation.
