Boston Conservatory’s NEW Musical Theater Dance

The Boston Conservatory’s NEW Musical Theater Dance Intensive gives promising musical theater students the opportunity to build skill and proficiency in musical theater dance styles with highly acclaimed faculty in the Conservatory’s new state-of-the-art performance center. Students also will broaden their resumes and "triple threat" capabilities with additional training in voice and acting.

Program Dates

Sunday, July 17 through Saturday, August 6

Sample Schedule (Monday-Friday):

• 9-10:45 am Dance Technique (ballet, jazz or theater dance)

• 11-12:45 pm Dance Technique (ballet, jazz or theater dance)

Dress Code

• Ballet (Women): Leotards, tights, ballet skirts, ballet shoes. Hair pulled back and secured.

• Ballet (Men): Tights, tight fitted a-shirts or t-shirts, unitards, ballet shoes, dance belt

• Modern: Unitards or leotard and tights

• Jazz: Jazz shoes, character shoes, unitards, leotards, tights
