Davina McCall has opened that she is energized about her new game show.
In The Million Pound Drop, contestants will be given £1m of prize money at the start of the show.
They will then have to answer questions by placing the money on trapdoors. If they are uncertain of the correct answer, they will be allowed to spread the money across several doors.
However, if they answer incorrectly, the money will drop through the trapdoor and they will lose it.
"I'm excited to be hosting a show that feels this exciting," McCall said. "As well as being live, each of the contestants will be starting the show with a million pounds and it's just down to them whether they get to keep it or not. I'm sure this will guarantee a tense and nerve-wracking week for everyone."
The program will be televise live over six nights and contestants have been recruited over Facebook and Twitter. Online auditions will open again when the show starts.
