Cheryl Cole will go back to using her maiden name, Tweedy, according to reports, with her divorce from soccer player Ashley Cole said to be only weeks away.
Simon Cowell introduced the X Factor judge on TV this week, saying: 'And this is Cheryl ... Tweedy.'
'Cheryl's face didn't give much away. Simon was sort of joshing but she didn't laugh or look annoyed,' The Sun quotes a witness saying.
It was the first time the former Girls Aloud singer – who split from the England defender earlier this year following revelations of his supposed infidelities – has been openly referred to as “Tweedy”.
She is also said to be planning to have the “Mrs C” tattoo on her neck removed.
