Any triumphant show or event is only as good as the host that keeps the crowd engaged, keeps the show moving and generates enough good will, humor and fun to make the night and experience memorable.
The circus is absolutely no different, and now the most memorable global experience of arts, music, dance and style - The UniverSoul Circus is looking for their "Next Soul Stars" to serve as host and make millions of people stand to their feet and jump for joy as they stand at the helm of the UniverSoul Circus.
Nationally famous playwright and talent scout Angela Barrow-Dunlap and The UniverSoul Circus choreographer Vic Carter will be on hand leading the charge and looking to discover the "NEXT SOUL STARS" to become hosts of the most interactive circus in the world.
The talent search kicked off Tuesday, Oct. 10th in Chicago and culminates in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Oct. 30th. Another stop on the tour was in Washington, DC on Oct. 12. The tour will also make a stop in Atlanta on Oct. 16.
In each city on the casting call/audition tour, representatives will be looking for male and female professional talent comedic actors, mimes and dancers of all races and ethnicities. Anyone with strong improvisational skills will absolutely fit the bill as they hold their city to city search. Dancers must possess a strong technical ability in ballet, modern dance and modern dance styles and possess a strong dramatic stage presence. Actors should prepare a one-minute routine and dancers will be taught a combination routine. All interested parties must bring a photo and resume and be able to travel in a non-union production.
"We are looking to discover that individual or group of individuals with stand-out talent, electrifying personalities and the gifted ability to engage audiences and pull them into the very magical experience," said Barrow-Dunlap.
